Hello!

I want to replace the air bags on my W100, but I ran into the problem of finding them. Who can tell where these things are sold?

Thank you in advance.

I have no idea where you are in the world, but they have been readilly available through Tom Hanson at the Classic Center in Irvine, California, USA and I presume through any M-B Dealership and the usual M-B aftermarket such as Niemoller etc.

Got your Email, thank you.

I must admit I had that car already in our registery, but could not trace it until now.
Must be caused by an earlier computercrash, where I lost a lot of past Emails ....

Obviously the amount of data is now so big, that I lost overview ... Sorry fot that .

It should be noted that the rear air bags are the same for all air suspension cars from that era. The fronts are 600 only and should not be confused with other air suspension models such as 109 and 112. Make sure you have the bag pointed in the correct orientation when installing because they can be damaged if not. I clean and polish the cones that the air bags ride on to prevent any unneeded wear on a new part.

I have always applied graphite powder to the section of bags that are positioned on the cone. I figure it can't hurt.
