i read something last week about Bowies Landau ,which was sold to him by a dealer in the UK,anyway,I was watching the tube tonight and this doco featured five years of Bowies most invative period. He is seen about halfway through sitting in the back of it ,with his then wife Angie . Rego number was JUC 114 N. Who has it now?

What the heck, try to stuff a MB 6.9 liter V8 in it. What a machine that would be..

This car was discussed in an earlier thread, with some links to more info.

Now i will have to find the article because the dealer knew a lot about the car and that Bowie bought it for his early 70's World tour .

I might know the rough whereabouts of that car now. My father bought the car in the mid to late 1990s by which time it was a complete rust bucket rotting on the floor a private car park/garage in the UK. It took him a day to get the car out of there but eventually he got it out and he restored it to its former glory. He sold the car to somewhere in either the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain or Saudi Arabia, at the moment I'm not sure. The car was brought to AMG where it was tuned and I believe it still remains in the Middle East.
