Hi guys,
New here, we have a custom shop and have a customer with the following 3 M100s. I can send/post photos of the cars and VINs;
-10001212001817
-10001212000082, but this car has another plate with the number 10001212002341
-10001212000368

The first one is in terrible condition (I will post a new topic on this one as the owner wants to restomod this one and we need help). The second one is in restorable condition and the owner wants to fully restore it (however the two VIN numbers are confusing - there is another SGS plate on this one). The last one is in excellent condition and is fully function.

Thanks.

Thanks for this message.

002341 is new and unknown for us. If that is an SGS-conversion it should have electric RollsRoyce door mirrors .....

000082 should be delivered to Fred Kemp III USA (founder of the Kemp Automuseum) with motornumber 000109 and as far as we know with export License "828-Z9098" The only available picture I have is this one during the delevering on the factory in Germany on 11-nov-1964.

000368 is a car in 332 darkblue and 702 grey velours interior In Spain ?? ex Italian car with motor 000356 - no picture available.

001817 is new and unknown for us

Files must be .jpg and less than 78Kb. File name cannot include symbols. Best bet is for Paul to send you his e.mail address and for you to send the pictures to him. He can put them here as appropriate. He will appreciate receiving original high resolution images for his register.

That is NOT Vin 000368 ....

but a 1977 (or very early 1978) car .....

Please send me those pictures in high resolution

that is Bodynumber 00036 from a SWB LHD car in that year delivered to country in Asia (code 8).

In Case that car is ordered in 1977 number 40
Original colour 404 G (Milanbrown metalic) with 623 H (light Ivory) top/roof

real Vin should be around 002500
here you can see my dataplate :

my car has vin "002484" and ordernumber "7800002" + bodynumber "00012"

Here is the second one; note the two VIN plates with the different #s; 10001212000082 & 10001212002341 and of course the SGS tag. I am hoping this can be explained by someone.

The second picture is de Vin-plate : 002341

the third picture is the dataplate:
ordered in 1974 ordernumber 00258
it is the 8th LHD SWB body produced in that buildingyear produced for the german (2) market
delivered in black 040 G

extra's for which the body had to be prepaired :
516 radio Becker Grand Prix LKMU
580 airconditioning
992 more uncoded KW-options specified in the extra productionpage I belonging to the datacard.

SGS is a german couchbuilder and that plate will give some info over the modification ....

Oops, you posted between my answer so this is for the black car.
When you look well, you will see the RR-doormirror, which is "typical" for an SGS-conversion.

The Vin of the bordeauxred 001817 is correct. Vin-tag is overspayed.

It looks like a coachbuilder "CARAT" modification ???
Hard to tell from the small pictures.

cool, so we have validated 2 of the 3 vins. this one is in bad mechanical shape even though the body is in very good condition.

i will take another look at the white and get its vin tag. i will also be taking better pictures of all the cars.

Hello from Stockholm Sweden,

I am a new member here. Just wanted to let you know that I own Mercedes Benz 600 no. 091 which is registered as
a 1966 (my birth year). I bought it in the US some years ago. It's being restored here and there, but has an average fine condition. It's dark brown (Tobacco brown) with light brown interior. On the picture is has US lights, but nowadays it has European lights as well as the original Becker stereo.

Other wise I collect Mercedes from 1966 only (and some other cars too from that year),

All the best

Christopher Ístlund

Hi I located this 600 today in Sydney and I don't see the ViN on the first page
It's 000195 RHD not sure where it was delivered but originally cream now burgundy
Will be put on eBay soon as a project by the same guy hat has 166 for sale at the moment.
It has new paint but motor and interior out and is complete but not sure how much will be put back together before being sold. Attached vin photo looks like a 6 in the photo but definitely a 5 just poor quality upload
