Hi Ian,

Thank you very much for your help.
This car is for sale since a long time (also been in several auctions and in several countries [Switserland, Germany and GB]). It had in the past some square foglights on the bumper. The mountings are still in place on the bumper.

It is the early car with number 27.

Added in the overview no 002312 from Japan (38th identified divider-SWB).
At the moment on Ebay no 280473892259 .

yet another "shah" car. The Museum in Teheran has several of his 600's in the collection but i had never seen pictures of that one.

What the heck, try to stuff a MB 6.9 liter V8 in it. What a machine that would be..

Hello
here an unknown 600 with divider. I found these pics in a spanish magazine named "coches clasicos". The license plate shows Madrid and the car seems built in sixties.

Hi Will,

it was identified as Vin 001559 in the overview.
Thanks for the new pictures.

Please send me those original scans for my collection.
Thank you.

As I studied the new picture of the interior, then this car can never fit to that earlier mentioned VIN ...... It must be one before 000642 ....
So, as I read in the web about that auction and found that picture, they must have switched between two pictures or the had used a "look-a-like".
That means that I realy need those scans for verifying .....

In the overview are 2 pictures of car 000041 added ..

Vin 532 removed because the pictures belonged to 000208 and 532 is defenitly no dividercar

Ron Bunting discovered an new unknown divider-car:

we will investigate its Vin.

After studying the picture carefully, it is sure, that that car is not a SWB, but the 4 door LWB also known as the RED BARON ....

So, this car doesn't belong in this thread

Hi Will,
you can have the lady/girl [no not the grill], I 'll take the red baron ......

Our MB-Club in Holland is now 40 years. The club has send all members a DVD with all publications since the beginning.
I spend some couple of hours to see what I could remember since I got member in end 1985.

So I found back a picture of a very early dutch 600, with the licenseplate "GL-63-08" and is one number up from a maroon pagoda 230 SL from the president of the local oldy-club, which we restored carefully and completly in the year 1990.

That licenseplate was given out about 20 october 1964 ....
And that means it must be a very early Vin.
BUT, as I saw that typical Licenseplate on that black 600 I only noticed that our presidents was "GL-63-07" .....

And NOW I SAW that picture suddenly again ..... and GUESS .....

IT IS A DIVIDER CAR .......
