After exchanging some emails with Luis, we discovered now, that the frontseats in a dividercar normaly are standard in leather.

If there is a non-leather-code mentioned in a dividercar-datacard, then that non-leather-upholstery-code is in dividercars only the code for the rearseats.

Paul if the owner of this car hasn't got a problem with it, please send me his details. It would be nice to make contact with him / her.

The owner of the Car in Japan is also the same guy who built that shortened 600 with the soft top? If so,he also rebuilds injection pumps.

The blue car from japan went into the white speedstar, yes that's the guy.

The white (primer??) japanese divider car, I don't know yet, but believe it belongs to somebody else .., because Wanatabee gave us his four Vins.

Just got an Email from our member Bill Saylor from Canada.

He emailed me several new pictures from divider-cars, which I added in the overview on page 1. In this Email was also a new Vin and pictures from a divider car I did not knew until now.

During my hunting for Vins I stumbled over an advertising:

1964 Mercedes Benz 600
$ 225.000
1964 Mercedes-Benz 600 28865 Miles
Hemmings Motor News - Miami Gardens FL

clicking on the Link and there appears the next text:

MERCEDES-BENZ: 1964 Grand 600, swb, very rare, only 24 made, completely restored, 28,865 miles, partition with refrigerated bar, reclining rear seat, fuel injection 6.3 liter V8, arctic white with maroon interior, offered at $225,000. 305-623-4899, FL. $225,000

Has anybody additional Info for me and a picture ??? because this car is still missing in my database ....

I was talking with John Freeman at the Toowoomba Swap meet on Friday and he tells me has sold his SWB divider car to a new owner in Sydney. I understand that it was also a Hong Kong car when new.
