As you know the factory would nearly every wish from a buyer add to that specific to build car. The list of possible and more common Wishes was shown under the chapter KW-options, that I published after getting them from Mr Giovanni from Italy in the thread "600 Purchasing advice".

So most cars will be delivered by the factory conform the buyers wishes.
Somethimes the new owners wanted even more or some very specific adjustments.
One example was Mr Nubar Gulbenkian, who became after long time his Sedan with a special roof, made by Coachbuilder CHAPRON in France.
The rest of his special wishes seems partly to be fitted in the car, then in the divider there are buttons mounted from Citroen. Obviously the Interior might not have a single piece of wood, so all was made by leather.

Then we know of course the normal factory armoured cars:

But there were more coachbuilders who offered panzered cars. One to mention is Trasco, which company was specialised in Armouring / Panzerschutzbau.

Here is such a car in "B6-Panzerung":

Here an other one we have:

NOTE: these cars can open the heavy windows, while in the factorypanzers their windows NOT can be opened !

But Trasco made also unpanzered upgraded cars:

Then we have the famous creation by B&B, which car is unique in the world. "Buchmann & Bruder". The wheelbase was lenghtened with 70 cm, the same base as the LWB Pullman. It was made from a very late 1980 car for arabian King Chalid ('s doughter??) in the middle east.

YIPPPPIE During creating this artikel I found its VIN !!!

Then we have a less known creation from Buchmann in 1973/74 :

After all the times i have seen the pics of this car i finally realised how thety got it running...the MFI has been removed and the front of the intake manifold chopped off .
On top of the manifold are bolted a couple of carburetors

What the heck, try to stuff a MB 6.9 liter V8 in it. What a machine that would be..
