In the original posting was promessed a picture of the old console, but I can't add pictures in that posting. Also added a picture of the automatic closingunithook.

So here are some pictures:

This smaller gearboxtunnels switched to the bigger gearboxtunnels between Vin 790 and Vin 794 (where could be an exeption for some LWB, while longer buildtime)

The hydraulic closingunithook:

and again from an other angle:

Older control in black:

That was in all the cars up to /until Vin 642.
except for RHD-Landaulet 601 (Sultan of Brunei) and the Vins:
615, 621, 637, 638, 639 and 640
.

Vin 642 and all the later cars had the control in regular wood.

Considering there are a few pics earlier in the thread of these Sony TV's, look what's popped up on Ebay.

With most countries now broadcasting exclusively in digital, a TV like this will be little more than an expensive piece of non-functional sculpture in your car.

When the first one of those TVs showed up on ebay ages and ages ago, it sold for like 30$. I considered buying one to convert into an ignition oscilloscope. Nothing like checking the ignition behavior from behind the wheel at speed.

Eventually on all the links posted they will become dead, at least include a little description, or it'll become totally pointless at one time in the future....(your posting, that is....)

Also appears to have a full width wooden grill in front of the rear screen which is not in other cars.
